Last Thursday at school we had athletics day. I did social athletics so we only did 60m Sprint, Shot-put and discus. Some things that I did not like about athletics was that we did not do many things. I think we could of got 2-3 more activity in because between each activity we had around an hour break and after a while you ran out of things to do. Some of the things I liked is when you were doing an activity you were able to do it as many times as you want and it did not matter how far you got it.
Before athletics day we got to do long jump which I did not do much better than what I did last year so I think There is room for improvement. We also did high jump which I did a little bit better I nearly got over it I just need to work on getting my legs up high so they don't hit the bar. When we did 100m sprints I got about 18 seconds which is faster than what I got last year. For the first time we got to do javelin which we did not really measure it was just so we could see what it was like.
