The Feet Can Measure The Height

The bones of the feet can tell a lot about a person. What do feet reveal about a persons height? Forensic anthropologists team up with law enforcers to help solve crime. Bones of the fete can reveal an interesting fact about and individual. Let's combine math with forensics to see how.

Rules

1. Always use a sharp pencil
2. Use a ruler if drawing a line graph.
3. Choose scales so that the graph takes up at least 80% of the paper.
4. Label both axis with a description of what you are measuring.
5. Give your graph a title. 
6. Never rule back to zero.

1. Outline 2 features of a good graph? Ruled up lines and Title 

2. Suggest why graphs should be drawn in pencil? Because if you muck up you can rub it out.

3. What needs to be given a title on a graph? What you are making the graph about.

Using the graph paper provided graph the class results of your phone / chromebook model.

Aim: To record, tabulate and graph data.

Hypothesis: I think that the most popular model is an Iphone 5s / Acer Chromebook

Method: 

1. Note the make of your phone / chromebook

2. Record your results on the whiteboard by ticking the appropriate box.

3. Record the class results in the table below.

4. Use the graph paper provided

• Draw a chart
• Graph the results 

Conclusion: 

Forgery.

Forgery is the copying of another persons writing or signature. Criminals use it for signing cheques falsely.

Aim: To figure out which pen is used to write a forgery letter.

Hypothesis: We will know what pen was used.

Method: Beaker, Filter paper, Pen, Sellotape and water.

1. Put a dot on the filter paper 2cm up.
2. Put 50ml of water in the beaker.
3. Put the paper in the water and leave it for 5 minutes.
4. Attach a peace of the letter to the paper with the sellotape.
5. Place the paper in 50ml of water.
6. Compare the two ink marks.

E.O.T.C Week

E.O.T.C week stands for education outside The classroom. On E.O.T.C week we go to places like Surfing, Mega Air, Top Team, Sailing, Adrenalin Forest and Ice Skating.
The things we did this year were.
Surfing

I though that surfing was the best thing in E.O.T.C week becuse you could try bodyboarding and surfing. Their might of been alot of seaweed but it was really fun.








Mega Air

Mega Air was really fun becuse there were lots of things you could do like dodgeball there were foam pits and a air mattress that you could do flips and land on it. There were boxs that you could jump on and off.

Letter To Future Me

On the 28.11.16 we strted make letters to ourself when for when we are 25. Down below is my letter it has my career, sport and were I wont to go.

Dear future me

By the time you read this many years will have passed. In fact you will be turning 25 years old.. This is a reminder of what your hopes and dreams were when you were 10. We will start with your career you were always wanting to be a policeman or be a dairy farmer..

You wanted to keep playing football and try to get into one of the great teams that play football. You were also thinking about playing hockey as a summer sport so most the time you would be playing a sport, but you want to get better a football first.

Now let's get to where you wanted to go you always wanted to go to see the Eiffel tower and see the Beehive in Wellington. You also wanted to see the Olympics and the Rugby World Cup.

After seeing all the wonderful stuff you would settled down in a house in Takaka you would have a wife 2 kids there would be a girl and a boy.
