When I was looking through I did not find many things that took my interest. But then I found a game that I liked and I have made my own version. At first I did it on blocks but I could not find the right blocks so I changed my mind and did it in java script. At first I was a little confused so I used this site to help me with the codes. Once I got the hang of it it took me two lessons to make it and then I had to go through and check if everything was ok. In my opinion I think that it has turned out really well. This is how you play the game. So once you press start it will tell you will need to pick a random colour. It will then start a count down and tell you when it starts. When it starts it will start to spin around and then when it stops there should be a blue light pointing at someone. It will also show a colour so say if you were green and the blue light was pointing at you and your colour was green then that means you are out. You then keep playing until there is one person left. This game is best played with 6-8 people.
Here is the java script code that I have made

Here is the blocks code that I also made
Here is the sphero site that we used hope you enjoy.
If you got the chance to make a game what game would you make? Or if you could change this game what would you do to change it?
Hey Kalim,
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely awesome! Great 'pivot' to using Java so you could achieve your goal. Your code is great, and with a bit of tidying up, would be really concise and easy for a new learner - but I'm splitting hairs, you've done a wonderful job.
Your next steps could be to communicate the game instructions in a clearer way (you could make a video or simply put step 1, step 2, etc) but this shows a really great depth of learning and learning strategies.
