For the last couple of weeks in metal work we have been looking around at a lot of different designs. The first designs that we were looking at were dog tag or ID tags. SO at the start we would go onto google and look up a lot of different dog tag designs. We would then put them onto a doc and say what we like and what we don't like about the tag we have chose. But then we had the choice to pick a dog tag design or a Maori design. Once we chose what one we wanted to do we would then take all of the design that we wanted and make our own design with those ideas. Once we sketched out three of the designs that we liked the most we would than go onto this site named
tinker cad. Once we made our design on tinker cad we went do the room with the 3D printers. My design only took 41 minutes to make and then I was able to take it home. Here is a photo of what it looks like when it is printing.
This is what the app looks like that we are using for the 3D printer
This is how you use tinker-cad to make your design.
